Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SpeedLens (the "Extension" and related services). By installing or using SpeedLens, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service description
SpeedLens is a Chrome browser extension that provides Flash (RSVP) and Bionic reading modes for text on webpages. The Extension is provided as-is and is subject to change or discontinuation with reasonable notice.
2. Free and Pro plans
SpeedLens offers two tiers:
- Free plan: 10 reads per day at no cost. No payment or account required.
- Pro plan: Unlimited reads and all features, available as a monthly (₹99/month) or yearly (₹799/year) subscription billed in Indian Rupees (INR).
Plan features and pricing are subject to change. Existing subscribers will be notified of price changes at least 30 days in advance.
3. Payment and billing
All payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. By subscribing to Pro, you authorise Razorpay to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) until you cancel.
Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period. You are responsible for ensuring your payment method remains valid.
4. Refund policy
We offer a 7-day refund policy from the date of purchase. To request a refund, email support@speedlens.in with your Razorpay order ID within 7 days of payment. Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.
Refunds are not available for renewals after the 7-day window has passed.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time by emailing support@speedlens.in. Upon cancellation, your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time after the 7-day refund window.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the Extension
- Resell or redistribute SpeedLens or your subscription
- Use SpeedLens for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to bypass the daily read limit on the Free plan
7. Intellectual property
SpeedLens and all associated content, design, and code are the intellectual property of the SpeedLens owner. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Extension for personal, non-commercial purposes.
8. Limitation of liability
SpeedLens is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Extension, including but not limited to loss of data or interruption of service.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify Pro subscribers of material changes via email. Continued use of SpeedLens after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
